Microneedling Facial
What It Is
Microneedling uses very fine sterile needles to create hundreds of microscopic channels in the skin, far too small to see. Your body repairs them and builds fresh collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm and smooth. Because the needles reach living skin below the surface, this is a genuine procedure with a short recovery period.

- Pitted or indented acne scars
- Rough or uneven skin texture
- Fine lines and early loss of elasticity
- Pores that appear enlarged
How It Works
The needles pass through the outer layer into the living skin beneath, where collagen is generated. Your body reads these tiny channels as minor injuries and repairs them gradually over the following weeks. Needle depth is adjusted for each area of the face, which matters for both comfort and results.
Your visit:
- We review your skin, health history and any medications you are taking.
- We cleanse and disinfect your skin before the session begins.
- Numbing cream is applied and left in place for 30 to 45 minutes.
- The device passes over each area, followed by calming serum and sunscreen.
What to Expect
- Time: about 60 to 90 minutes, most of it numbing
- How it feels: a scratchy, vibrating sensation once the numbing takes effect
- Downtime: redness resembling mild sunburn for one to three days
- Results: first changes around four to six weeks, developing gradually for months
- How often: usually a short series spaced four to six weeks apart
Good to know: this treatment is not suitable during pregnancy, while nursing, or if you form raised scars. Skin commonly flakes around days three to five, so let us know about any medications, allergies or skin conditions at your consultation.
