Dark Spot Laser Treatment

What It Is

This is a laser treatment for brown spots and uneven pigmentation on the face and body. We match the wavelength and energy to the type of pigment and how deep it sits, breaking it into fragments your body can gradually clear. Daily sunscreen is essential, since the laser fades existing discoloration but cannot prevent new spots.

How It Works

Dark pigment absorbs the laser light far more strongly than the surrounding skin, so each brief pulse delivers its energy precisely where the discoloration sits. The pigment breaks apart, and some rises to the surface as a fine crust that flakes away naturally. Your body clears the remainder over the following weeks.

Your visit:

We examine each area of pigmentation and discuss the results you want.
Your skin is cleansed, numbing cream applied and protective eyewear fitted.
We treat spot by spot, adjusting the energy as your skin responds.
We cool the area, apply a soothing cream and explain aftercare.

What to Expect

Time: approximately 45 to 75 minutes, less for isolated spots
How it feels: a brief warm snap, comparable to a rubber band
Downtime: mild redness, then fine crusts that flake away within two weeks
Results: discoloration looks noticeably lighter once the crusting resolves
How often: typically three to five sessions, about a month apart
