What It Is

HIFU, or High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, reaches the deeper layers of skin without cutting or breaking the surface. Focused sound energy warms precise points beneath the skin, prompting your body to rebuild collagen over the months that follow. The effect is a genuine but subtle lift along the lower face, jawline and neck, rather than the result of a facelift.

How It Works

The handpiece sends focused sound waves to set depths beneath the skin, creating small points of controlled heat while the surface stays untouched. Your body repairs those points by producing fresh collagen and elastin, the fibers responsible for firmness and elasticity. Because that rebuilding takes time, the change appears gradually rather than overnight.

Your visit:

We review your skin, health history and the changes you want.
Photos are usually taken first, since results develop slowly.
Your face is cleansed, then gel and markings are applied.
Energy is delivered line by line, followed by moisturizer and sunscreen.

What to Expect

Time: about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the areas treated
How it feels: waves of warmth and prickling, uncomfortable but manageable
Downtime: normal activities the same day; mild redness, puffiness or tenderness can last a few weeks
Results: develop gradually, clearest around three to six months
How often: usually one session, reviewed after about a year
